Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Microsoft has announced the winners of the 2010 Xbox LIVE Arcade Awards as voted by the Xbox LIVE community back in February through the Xbox LIVE dashboard.

Leading from the front is Microsoft and Playdead's brilliant platform-puzzler Limbo, taking home five awards, including Best Overall Arcade Game. The rest of the awards were shared between equally brilliant games such as Monday Night Combat, Pac-Man Championship Edition DX and Plants vs. Zombies.

• Best Multiplayer Game: “Monday Night Combat” (Uber Entertainment)

• Best Innovation: “PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX” (NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc)
• Best Graphics: “LIMBO” (Microsoft Game Studios)
• Best Classic/Remake Game: “PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX” (NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc)
• Best Family Game: “Plants vs. Zombies” (PopCap Games)

Looking at the results, it shows that the Xbox LIVE Arcade has continued to deliver innovative and entertaining games, and we can't wait to see what the rest of 2011 has in store for gamers.
