In a recent interview with VG247, Team 17 chief Martyn Brown confirmed that the company's upcoming Alien Breed Evolution will release on XBLA ahead of other platforms. Included in comments that will doubtless have fanboys howling, he says "I think XBLA still leads PS3 in terms of user base and probably the amount of people buying the thing. Plus we have a relationship with Microsoft that's pretty close - a first party publishing relationship."

Alien Breed Evolution is a "retro-modern" remake of their 1991 top-down shooter classic, Alien Breed. No release date yet, although it's generally expected to be out sometime this year.
