Ubisoft has built quite a sizeable little empire around the Assassin's Creed franchise over the years. With the latest installment fresh on store shelves, the publisher has already detailed plans for the first downloadable content - the Ancestors Character Pack - heading our way on 13 December.

Being a character pack and everything the Ancestors DLC naturally adds a number of new characters to your multiplayer assassin sessions - four to be exact - giving players the chance to play as the Privateer, Corsair,  Brigand and Gladiator. Each will bring something unique to the Assassin's Creed knife fight, with personalized taunts, assassinations and weapons.

Sharpen your pointy tools of death, and set aside 320 MS Points for the Assassin's Creed: Revelations Ancestors Character Pack DLC when it hits the Xbox LIVE Marketplace next month.
