Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on the way
Another sequel has been confirmed by EA during their Q3 2009 conference call. This time it's from swedish developers DICE, with the next Battlefield: Bad Company title in the series expected early 2010.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (not the official name) is reported to use the same engine as the previous game, so don't expected a drastic change in the looks department.
