EA DICE announced today at GamesCom 2009 that the second game in their respected Bad Company franchise will hit European shores 5 March 2010, and we can look forward to a similar date here in sunny SA.

Karl Magnus Troedsson, Executive Producer for the Battlefield Franchise, went on to say: "The variety of weapons, choice of vehicles and scale of destruction in the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 sandbox environment generates countless unscripted and unforgettable moments. When Battlefield: Bad Company 2 ships in March, it will deliver the best online multiplayer experience ever."

Best online multiplayer experience ever? That's a pretty bold statement to make, given the strength of some of the games Bad Company 2 will be up against by the time it comes out. As usual, only time will tell who is the true king of the multiplayer hill.
