Battlefield: Bad Company developer EA DICE has revealed that there will be an in-game store where gamers can download free and premium DLC, and what's more, there will be content available on launch day.
In an interview with Worthplaying, Bad Company 2 senior producer Patrick Bach explained that the in-game store is an integral part of the game, with the focus being on creating a 'longer experience' for gamers. He went on to add, "I think people will be thrilled to see what's in that already. On day one, you will get some really cool stuff."
At this point it's unclear whether the launch day DLC will be of the 'free' variety, or the 'give us all your money' variety. Going on recent releases, the initial content will likely be free for those purchasing new copies of BF: BC2. As always, we will keep our collective ears to the ground to keep you all informed as more information becomes available.
