Damn those fiscal years. Damn them to hell. Because of some fiscal something-or-other, Take-Two is delaying BioShock 2's release until fiscal something-else.

"We recognize that our revised outlook for the balance of fiscal year 2009, due to both internal and external factors, is a disappointment," says Strauss Zelnick, Chairman of Take-Two, in the understatement of the fiscal century. "That said, we concluded that moving the release of BioShock 2 into fiscal year 2010 was the right decision for the product."

In real life terms, this means sometime after 1 November 2009. Uh, which was around about the original release window, wasn't it? Anyway, projections are now pointing to some as-yet undefined date in the first half of (real life, not fiscal) 2010.
