Bioshock 2 map

The first few details of the highly anticipated Bioshock 2: Sea of Dreams can be found on a new teaser website titled, There's Something in the Sea.

The site currently shows a map with Ireland marked with the date of 20 Feb 1967 - 7 years after the original Bioshock. Along with the marker is a newspaper clipping detailing the kidnapping of a 7-year-old girl from a small fishing village called Liscannor Bay. The father of the girl described her assailant as "thin, above average height and wore some kind of red light", and also noted he moved with "incredible speed". The clipping went on to say, "Superintendent Brian Kerrigan speculates that the attacker may have worn a miner's helmet".

There's also a short letter describing a collection of items that a local inhabitant found a month later while searching the beaches. Some of the items were "rare shells, sea glass and even doubloons", but most interesting is the Big Daddy like doll which can be seen in a picture as well as in the first teaser trailer.

Was the attacker a new type of Big Daddy, or in fact someone we know more personally from the first game? A detailed map was discovered by a thorough visitor to the teaser site, which shows many more markings on the world map. Perhaps more kidnappings? Let the hype, rumours and theories begin.
