Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Gears of Planet. Lost War. Planet of Lost War Gears. I could go on. Anyway, as most of the internet already knows, Capcom's upcoming Lost Planet 2 features a surprise cameo from Epic Games' premier COG grunts, Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago. And how did this exremely unlikely coalition of games (oh, see what I did there?) come into being then?

"They [Capcom] contacted us about the cameo and we said 'heck yeah,'" Gears of War designer Cliff "Don't call him CliffyB" Bleszinski tells Kotaku. "We're mutual fans of each other's work and crossovers are darned cool so we sent over the Marcus and Dom models for implementation."

So they're using the same models, but... yeah. They look all weird now. Check it out for yourself with the trailer below:
