Borderlands 2 special editions revealed

Ready to get your Borderlands 2 on in style? 2K Games and Gearbox Software has announced two impressive special editions for the upcoming first-person shooter slash RPG, with the Deluxe Vault Hunter's Collector's Edition and Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition packing all-sorts of Borderlands paraphernalia.

We contacted local distributor Megarom to find out about availability and pricing for South Africa, but so far nothing has been confirmed. It's likely though that a limited supply will be available, so early pre-ordering is a must. Speaking of which, 2K Games also revealed that anyone who pre-orders the game will gain access to the Borderlands 2 Premiere Club, which allows members to download the Gearbox Gun Pack, a Golden Key, the Vault Hunter’s Relic and an all-new fifth character class - the Mechromancer.

Borderlands 2 will be shooting and looting in stores from 21 September.
