EA has announced that Brutal Legend will be available in stores from October 16 in Europe.

The rock-fueled, third-person action game follows the story of the ultimate roadie, Eddie Riggs (played by Jack Black), who, after a stage accident, wakes up in a heavy metal inspired world to find the oppressed people of the land requiring his assistance to help free them from the clutches of the evil emperor Doviculus and his demon army, The Tainted Coil.

With the talented Tim Schafer and his team at Double Fine Productions creating the magic behind Brutal Legend, fans could be in for something special this Rocktober.
