EA's recently revealed Epic Edition for the upcoming shooter Bulletstorm may not be showing up on your favourite local retailer's pre-order list, but fear not, we got hold of an EA South Africa representative who has confirmed that we will definitely be seeing the Epic Edition on local store shelves, and unlike the Dragon Age 2 pre-order special, it is not exclusive to any one retailer.
For those who missed the original announcement, the Epic Edition includes bonus in-game content when playing online, including 25,000 experience points, visual upgrades for your leash, a Peace Maker Carbine, and new boots and armor. Probably even more enticing for shooter fans is the fact that the owners of the Epic Edition will be given early access to the Gears of War 3 multiplayer beta, which is expected sometime in April.
It's likely that those who have already pre-ordered Bulletstorm will automatically be upgraded to the Epic Edition, but it's probably best to confirm with your chosen retailer as we near the expected local release date of 25 February.
