Bungie Day 2010: Red vs Blue - Deja View

It's the 7th day of the 7th month. Which is sort of like the prophesied 7th son of a 7th son, but actually not so much. It is, however, Bungie Day over at Bungie HQ and everywhere that people love Bungie, so the developer has teamed up with machinima guys Rooster Teeth and made this Red vs Blue video all about Bungie's favourite game, Halo.

The biggest reveal is the return of Halo: Combat Evolved's Blood Gulch map. Back from outer space. It also shows off Warthogs with rocket turrets and a clever dopplegänger Hologram armor ability. As for the map itself, Bungie is being all coy and teasing players with a "Go outside the Canyon" line for the upcoming Comic-Con expo, suggesting Blood Gulch got bigger, and by obvious extension, better.

Bungie's final Halo game, Halo: Reach, is set to launch world wide on 14 September. Oh, and if anyone's counting, this article contains the word "Bungie" seven times. Aren't I clever?
