With the Halo: Reach multiplayer beta just around the corner, fans are starting to question whether it’d make a fitting end to the series, particularly after Lars Bakken, Bungie senior designer, admitted that Reach would likely be the last Bungie-made Halo game on the Xbox 360. However, Bungie's Brian Jarrard has just amended the previous claim by saying that it would be "premature" to consider Reach Bungie's last ever Halo title.
You know, it might be premature to say we'll never ever, ever make a Halo game again. We sort of have a little special place for Halo in our hearts. But for the foreseeable future, [Halo Reach] is it.
Whether or not the next big Halo will be overseen by Bungie itself is disputable, but Bungie isn't out of the picture just yet.
