After countless delays, Criterion Games has confirmed the Cagney update for Burnout Paradise will be available starting Monday 4th August. If you don't know yet, here's a quick run through of the features:

  • 3 New Freeburn Modes (Road Rage, Stunt Run and Marked Man)
  • 70 New Freeburn Challenges
  • 2 New Vehicles: Hunter Olympus and "A secret Criterion Car"
  • New liveries: Rossolini Tempesta Dream, Two fan-created liveries – the Oval Steel Racer and Inferno Hippie Van and Two "secret Criterion liveries"
  • Many changes in Ranked Races
  • Along with a host of other high-priority fixes and updates

These are the kind of changes you would expect in high priced DLC, however, the price for Cagney will suit everyones pocket. Mainly because the update will be totally Free! That's right folks, you won't have to pay a cent for all this great new content and fixes for your copy of Burnout Paradise.
