Xbox Gaming in South Africa

After being leaked earlier this week, Activision has officially announced the Hardened Edition for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The edition comes bundled with a bunch of Call of Duty goodies, including a 1-year Call of Duty: Elite premium membership, free access to all future MW3 DLC, a steel book case, and more.

The full contents of the Hardened Edition include:

• The Call of Duty: MW3 game disc, featuring unique disc art
• 1-year Call of Duty Elite premium membership, including all future DLC 20 pieces of Modern Warfare 3 DLC delivered over a 9 month period [Updated by Publisher]
• Ownership of all DLC, even if your membership expires
• Special Founder status on Call of Duty Elite, including an exclusive in-game emblem, playercard, weapon camouflage, clan xp boost, and more
• Premium, collectible steelbook case
• Exclusive Special Ops Juggernaut Xbox LIVE outfit
• Limited edition, collectible field journal chronicling the entire saga with 100+ pages of authentic military sketches, diagrams and written entries

The Modern Warfare 3 Hardened Edition will be out on the same day as the standard edition on 8 November and will set gamers back $99.99 (R750) in the US - $20 more than Modern Warfare 2's Hardened Edition - with local pricing still to be confirmed.
