Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Capcom has confirmed the zombie-killing survival horror, Dead Rising, will receive a sequel developed in partnership with Blue Castle Games.

Just last week a video appeared on youtube pointing to the existance of Dead Rising 2, but public skepticism led many to believe it was a fake... at least until today. The video is in fact the debut trailer for Dead Rising 2. (shown below)

Expect things to become more frantic as the situation worsens in the sequel:

Dead Rising 2 is set several years after the infamous zombie invasion of Willamette. Unfortunately, the zombie virus was not contained at the conclusion of Dead Rising, spreading unchecked throughout the United States and Dead Rising 2 depicts a country where zombie outbreaks continue to strike.

The original Dead Rising was well received, selling over 1.5 million units and becoming the fastest selling UK title on the Xbox 360 during its release week in 2006. Expectations will be high, so lets hope they deliver.
