Can you believe that little blue hedgehog has been blurring past your screen for going on 20 years now. Yep, starting to feel a bit old aren’t we, but yes, 20 years ago on 23 June, Sonic the Hedgehog landed feet first on the MegaDrive and he hasn’t stopped running since. To celebrate, Sega has released the demo for Sonic Generations (653 MB) on the Xbox Live Marketplace - a one-level affair giving you the opportunity to run through a nostalgia driven Green Hill Zone as the one, the only, chubby Classic Sonic. But you'd better hurry up if you want a peak into the next Sonic game as the demo expires on 12 July.

Sega is also slashing the prices on some select Sonic content on the Xbox LIVE Arcade, with items discounted up to 50% off. Check out the full list below:
