Ubisoft has announced a release date for Q? Entertainment and Tetsuya Mizuguchi's Kinect-enabled "synaesthesia shooter", Child of Eden.
Designed as a sort of spiritual sequel to Rez HD, Child of Eden is a rail shooter with multi-sensory synesthetic gameplay, combining touch, vision, and sound. It includes music by the Genki Rockets, a mostly anonymous collective previously featured in Lumines II.
Child of Eden is scheduled to drop on 14 June in the US, followed by the UK (and likely South Africa) on 17 June, and is certainly one of the more interesting upcoming Kinect titles.
