Crackdown was all sorts of fun when it arrived on the Xbox 360 back in 2007, and fans of the original will be chomping at the bit to get stuck into the 4-player multiplayer co-op when the sequel lands in July. To make sure everyone is clued up with the story so far (and remind us that there was some sort of story in the first game to start off with), Ruffian Games' senior designer Ed Campbell, along with comic book illustrator Alex Ronald, have put together a five part animated mini-series detailing the events between the original and the sequel.
The first episode, entitled Home Truths, is available now on the Machinima Youtube channel (embeded below), with the other episodes coming out over the next few weeks; wrapping up with time to spare before the game's release.
Here's the rest of the airing schedule for the Crackdown 2 mini-series:
- Episode 2: May 28
- Episode 3: June 4
- Episode 4: June 11
- Episode 5: June 21
