Xbox Gaming in South Africa

It's a new Tomb Raider game, but they've chucked the "Tomb Raider" bit. Now it's Lara Craft and the Guardian of Light. Because if it sounds like an Indiana Jones movie, people will want it.

“This is a really exciting project for Crystal Dynamics, we have created something completely new and very different to what people might be expecting,” says Crystal Dynamics manager, Darrell Gallagher. “Lara Croft is such an iconic character in videogames, with Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light we have created what we believe is a truly original digital experience.”

A few select folk will attend a behind closed doors event at GDC next week where they'll get the first glimpse of Crystal Dynamic's new game. There's no release date set, but - interestingly - it appears this game will be available exclusively by digital download. An XBLA title? I guess we'll find out more during GDC then.
