Xbox Gaming in South Africa

This time last year Microsoft and Crytek teased gaming audiences with a mysterious trailer for a title named Codename: Kingdoms. Now, a year later, and with a new name and a new blood-soaked trailer, Codename: Kingdoms has resurfaced as Ryse, Crytek's first Kinect title.

Set against a backdrop of the Roman empire at war, the trailer shows off the aggressive melee combat made possible thanks to Kinect. Unlike most Kinect games, Ryse looks gritty and downright brutal, featuring vicious sword attacks, headbutts and other equally painful strikes. Kinectimals, this is not.
