Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Capcom has announced that Dead Rising 2: Case Zero, the upcoming download-only prologue to Dead Rising 2, will be making its way to Xbox LIVE on 31 August, giving gamers a head start on the zombie slaughtering fun.

Set two years after the Willamette incident chronicled in the original Dead Rising and three years before the start of Dead Rising 2, Chuck along with his young infected daughter, Katey, find themselves trapped in the zombie infested desert town of Still Creek. It’s up to Chuck to find a way out of town, and locate the Zombrex Katey must take to prevent her from joining the ranks of the undead.

As a bonus you will be able to carry over certain character attributes earned while playing Case Zero to the full game, including Prestige Points, skills, Combo Cards, a number of alternate outfits and your Player Level (up to level 5, that is).

Dead Rising 2 will be in stores on or around 1 October, giving you about a month to tear your way through Case Zero, which will be available for download for only 400MSP.
