Xbox Gaming in South Africa

DeathSpank fans won't have to wait long before getting their next fix, as EA has announced that the sequel DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue will be out on Xbox LIVE Arcade on 22 September.

"Bigger, longer, harder -- these were the words that drove us while we created the follow up to our introduction to the DeathSpank universe," said Vlad Ceraldi, Director of Game Development for Hothead Games. "In T.O.V., we’re taking action RPG fundamentals and adding loads of new creatures, environments, weapons and characters, while continuing to push the envelope with our signature humor."

The sequel will see the titular character DeathSpank journey across war-torn lands, the North Pole, and high seas in an attempt to restore balance and harmony to the universe by destroying the six "mystical thongs" that have corrupted all those who've touched them.

DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue will once again include local co-op (no word on Xbox LIVE multiplayer unfortunately), and will be available on XBLA on 22 September for 1200 MS Points.
