Diablo III coming to Xbox 360?

Of course, Blizzard king Mike Morhaime has previously suggested that Diablo III might turn up on console. "Every game we have the discussion about which platforms make the most sense," said Morhaime in an interview with Shacknews at BlizzCon 2008. "As Diablo 3 takes shape, I think we'll do an evaluation. I think there is a pretty good argument to be made that that type of game might work very well on consoles. There might be some technical limitations though that we might need to get past."

It appears those technical limitations have been given some serious thought. According to a tweet from Blizzcon 2009 by GameTrailers host Geoff Keighley, "[Chief Operating Officer] Paul Sams of Blizzard says they haven't ruled out Diablo III for consoles -- and are currently talking to the first parties."

With LAN play nixed from the PC version, and all online multiplayer shovelled through Battle.net, confirmation of a console port might just make gamers happy again.

This seems like a bit of a sensationalist article, but I'd be very happy if it does on console. materialise

I've said all along that the controller isn't a limitation in the slightest, if they use their brains when laying it out.
