Bethesda Softworks has announced that Arkane Studios' upcoming stealth action adventure game Dishonored will be sneaking into stores across Europe - and presumably locally too - on 12 October, joining the likes of Assassin's Creed 3 and Medal of Honor: Warfighter as we head into this years' Holiday season.

The steampunk-styled sneak'n'stab action title looks to combine elements of the esteemed Thief series with Assassin's Creed overtones, dynamic missions and a flexible combat system.

"We are pleased that Dishonored has captured people’s attention," said Vlatko Andonov, president of Bethesda Softworks. "We are looking forward to sharing lots more information about the game leading up to its launch in October, and having a hands-on build of Dishonored in our booth at E3!"
