Xbox Gaming in South Africa

ID Software has officially announced the next Doom (Doom 4) at QuakeCon '08. Co-Founder of ID Software, John Carmack went on to say that "The next DOOM game will look like it's built on another engine, as it uses three times the horsepower.". He also notes that he feels the Xbox 360's hardware is superior to the PS3s, and only the Blue-ray player gives Sony's system an edge. Other than the actual announcement, not much information was given on the game except that "there will be guns, blood, demons, and gibs".
