Wizards of the Coast, Bedlam Games, and Atari have partied up and cast a Window of Launching on Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale for a 2011 XBLA release. Now I just really want them to announce it's been delayed, so I can say they've cast an Improved Window of Launching.

Until that happens, however, Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale is "an engaging multi-player experience that introduces a riveting narrative and treacherous new characters", that sees up to four intrepid heroes squaring off with their mighty D20s against the wicked Rezlus and his Zentarim.

“The Dungeons & Dragons franchise remains a priority for Atari as we continue to build upon the ever-evolving narrative with Dungeons & Dragons Daggerdale” says Jim Wilson, President and CEO of Atari, Inc. “As the first D&D cross-platform digital download title we look forward to expanding the franchise to a growing gaming audience.”

“Wizards of the Coast is excited to offer another great Dungeons & Dragons play experience,” adds Liz Schuh, Brand Director at Wizards of the Coast. “This exhilarating game will be a thrill for both current fans of the brand and new players alike.”

Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale is set for release on XBLA around Q2 2011.
