Left 4 Dead 2 has been announced during this year's Microsoft E3 press briefing, with an expected world wide release date of November 17.
A new setting will greet players in L4D2, as the survivors - they're new too - make their way from Savannah, Georgia thru the bayou country, and finishing up in New Orleans' French Quarter. Features include a beefed up AI Director, new boss zombies, items, as well as an interesting assortment of new weapons to choose from, such as a chainsaw, baseball bat, axe, or even a frying pan. To top it off, Valve has listened to the complaints from the original, and promise a whack of maps and campaigns at launch.
