EA accidentally confirms Crysis 3

Accidental game announcements are the nip-slips of the gaming world. There's always someone ready to take that quick snapshot when the gaming celebrities of our world mess up with an accidental push of a button or unintended leaked photo.

This time the blunder lies with EA and its Origin download service, which has prematurely outed the next game in the Crysis series by listing Crysis 3, with box art and all, showing off the now all too familiar nanosuit wearing protagonist wielding one Rambo looking composite bow. The listing was of course quickly removed, but not quick enough for some folks over on Neogaf to get a few screenshots off.

IGN reached out to EA for comment, to which the publisher replied:

"The best kept secret in shooters just can't be contained. Stay tuned for more information on April 16."

Guess we will have to wait until 16 April from more info, but I think it's a safe bet to say Crysis 3 will be making an appearance next week.
