Xbox Gaming in South Africa

In March this year we saw Battlefield 1943 becoming the fastest downloadable game to hit the 1 million sales mark, and now EA has announced that their WWII shooter has reached the lofty goal of being the best selling download-only game of all time on Xbox LIVE and PSN.

EA recently revealed the milestone achievement as part of the publishing giant's 2010 financial year results report, along with the news that Battlefield 1943 has gone on to shift in excess of 1.5 million units across both Microsoft and Sony's online gaming platforms. With that sort of success, it should be a safe bet that there will be more to come from the Battlefield team in the future.
