There's no love lost between EA and Activision as they attempt to draw more fans to their respective modern military shooters. The latest mud slinging sees EA take aim at the pricing of Modern Warfare 2's latest map pack, the Stimulus Package, which went on sale earlier this week for 1200 MS Points.
Speaking to Xbox 360 World magazine, DICE's Patrick Bach says that the company has no intention of charging for future maps:
We don't ever want to charge for our maps and insisted to EA that this attitude was crucial when it came to keeping our community happy and playing together.
He added that there are "generous" amounts of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 DLC in the pipeline for fans.
Of course, this free love policy only applies to people who bought the game new. Secondhand owners will have to cough up 1200 MSP to get in on the action.
