EA has announced that Redwood Shores Studio, developer behind titles such as Dead Space and more recently Dante's Inferno, has been renamed and rebranded as Visceral Games.

The reason for the name change, as EA put it, is to "better reflect the studio's culture, identity and focus on creating intense action-oriented intellectual properties".

It was also revealed that Visceral Games has two unannounced titles tucked away at their Redword City headquarters.

Dead Space 2 anyone?
