The biggest gaming expo in South Africa, Rage, is fast approaching, and as expected, local distributors are set to showcase their upcoming games, giving gamers a sneak peak at some of the most anticipated titles coming in the next few months.
The first to reveal their plans is EA South Africa, who will not only be showing off some great games, but have also teamed up with XFC Africa to bring us the real deal - 12 exhibition matches with Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) cage fighters on the Saturday (11:00-12:00 & 15:00-16:00) and Sunday (15:00-16:00). The event, of course, is to promote the launch of EA's upcoming fighting game EA Sports MMA, which releases on 22 October.
If fighting games aren't your thing, there will be plenty of other games on show, including:
- Dead Space 2
- Dragon Age 2
- EA SPORTS Active 2
- EA Sports MMA
- FIFA 11
- Medal of Honor
- The Sims 3 on Console
Rage 2010 kicks off at the Coca Cola Dome in Johannesburg on Friday, 1 October at 10AM, and continues all the way through until Sunday, 3 October at 4PM.
