EA Sports has announced that avid golfing fans can try out the upcoming golfing sim Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters with a demo, which is set to arrive on Xbox LIVE on 8 March.

The demo will include the Augusta National's par-4 18th, with players taking control of Tiger Woods as he attempts to win the Masters on the final hole. Alternatively, you can also try out the Road to the Masters mode, with the first five holes from the new TPC San Antonio Oaks Course on offer. As a bit of an incentive, those who complete the five holes will be able to jump straight into the Nationwide Tour in the retail game, skipping the Amateur Tour.

Tiger Woods 11 provided one of the best golfing experiences around, so it will be interesting to see whether EA Sports has done enough with Tiger Woods 12 to make it a worthwhile purchase for veterans of the series.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters will be out in stores on 1 April.
