EA has revealed a limited editon for the upcoming "kill with skill" shooter Bulletstorm, aptly named the Epic Edition, which is packed full of in-game bonuses, as well as a treat for Gears of War fans: exclusive early access to the Gears of War 3 multiplayer beta.
"Epic is poised to break new ground in 2011 with Gears of War 3 and Bulletstorm," said Dr. Michael Capps, president of Epic Games. "With these two highly anticipated triple-A experiences comes a unique opportunity to do something to really excite players, and that’s what we intend to accomplish with the support of Microsoft Game Studios and EA. This is for the shooter fans."
Along with the early GoW 3 beta access, the Epic Edition will include bonus online content, including 25,000 experience points, as well as visual upgrades for their leash, Peace Maker Carbine, boots and armor.
Still no word on when the Gears of War 3 multiplayer beta will kick off, but you'll be first in line if you grab the Epic Edition which releases alongside the standard edition - and at the same price - on 22 February 2011 in the US, with a local release unconfirmed, but likely on that Friday, 25 February.
