Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Microsoft has decided to expand the Xbox 360 Classics range with two more blockbuster titles: Fable 2 and Halo Wars.

The re-branded Fable 2 will include the Knothole Island and See the Future add-ons, effectively making it a much cheaper version of the Game Of The Year edition, and chances are good that we will see the same version here in SA.

However, the same can't be said for Halo Wars, as it includes a download card for the Strategic Options Pack and Historical Battle Map Pack, which will likely be removed due to our no-Xbox LIVE status.

We are still awaiting confirmation from Microsoft's PR people here in SA on a local release, but the odds are pretty good that they will be available in South Africa for around R270 in the near future.

[UPDATE] Microsoft SA has released a press release confirming the release of the above Xbox 360 classics, at a RRP of R299. As expected, Halo Wars will not include the DLC card.
