In an interview with Lionhead's Sam Van Tilburgh, it was revealed that the Fable II Pub Games won't be the only way to earn gold and new items for Fable 2. On the relaunch of the official game website, you will be able to earn Fable 2 gold and unlock new items like dye pots and a chicken suit through playing web games. In total, you will be able to unlock 6 to 7 new items!

This is great news for those who either don't want to pay for the pub games or live in a country where the pub games pre-order offer doesn't apply. No mention on when the site will be relaunched, but expect it very soon.
