Lionhead Studios has confirmed with Eurogamer.net that Fable 2's upcoming DLC, Knothole Island, will be released on the 22nd of December. The Fable 2 DLC pack unlocks a brand new island to explore, with new quests and items to collect.

As an added bonus, those who buy the pack for 800 MS Points or download the co-op patch (allowing co-op on the new island), will receive unique items such as Knight's Boots, Assassin's Gloves, a Weight Loss Potion, collectible book and more.

[UPDATE] Due to unexpected technical difficulties, the DLC has been delayed until late January 2009.
