Remember all that stuff Peter Molyneux promised about Fable 2 co-op? Well, it's finally gone through Microsoft certification (or whatever) and made it in time for Fable 3. "Better late than never", as the adage goes, or "Peter gets around to it eventually, maybe, well that's the plan, anyway". So expect to bring your full character, dog, weapons, everything ino friends' games this time, and that horrible rubberband camera is history.
"I heard you all about co-op. You want to have your own hero come into the world. Okay, fine, you can have that definitely," says the 'Neux in a recent 4 Guys 1UP podcast. "When you come into my world, you come in as your hero, with your dog, with all your unique weapons, self-crafted weapons. I heard you -- you don't wanna be tied to my camera, you wanna go off and do your own thing in my world. Fine, fair enough."
He also warns of possible consequences, adding that invited heroes "can screw the whole thing up, man!" Hopefully this is some sort of intended gameplay mechanism, and not a pre-emptive admission of game-breaking bugs.
