In addition to the bonus content in the Limited Collector's Edition, as well the free Villager Maker pre-order bonus, Microsoft has announced that all new copies of Fable 3 will include a one-time Xbox LIVE code that unlocks exclusive downloadable content.

The free DLC is set to include:

• Call forth undead minions to your aid with the Raise Dead Potion
• Extend battle time for more attacks with the Slow Time Potion
• For the fashionably conscious, try on and keep the Scot Male Hero Outfit or the Scot Female Hero Outfit
• Looking to get inked? The Highlander Tattoo Set will be perfect for your hero or heroine
• With the Red Setter Dog Skin, you can transform your faithful furry companion into a whole new breed

As with EA's Online Pass, this is Microsoft's way to lure gamers into buying new copies, rather than purchasing second hand. However, unlike EA's Online Pass, second hand buyers won't be restricted in any way, with all the modes available in both new and second hand copies.

Along with the DLC announcement, Microsoft has released a thrilling new developer diary, entitled 'A Call to Action', with Lionheads' Creative Director Peter Molyneux and Head of Fable Franchise Louise Murray discussing the ever-evolving world of Albion, and how your actions will affect those around you.

It's hard not to get excited now. Fable 3 is just around the corner, with a local release of next week Friday, 29 October.
