So Fable 2 didn't have much in the way of local fauna. Did you even notice? I didn't notice. But apparently we're all going to notice the overwhelming abundance of wildlife in Fable 3, according to the project's lead artist, John McCormack. Well, that's assuming all of this makes it into the final product. You know how Lionhead is.
"The lack of animals in the Fable franchise is always something that has bothered me," said McCormack in an interview with Beauty of Games, and so for the next sequel, "we've built bats, crows, rabbits, ducks, robins, vultures, lizards, rats, butterflies, moths, insect swarms, dogs, fireflies, geese and we even started on a cow."
Ugh, I hate lizards.
Fable 3 is scheduled for a Q4 2010 release, and should be showing off its stuff at E3 next month.
