Fable 3 pricing & pre-order DLC confirmed for SA [Update 2]

Update 2: Microsoft has confirmed that all upcoming game releases will include LIVE content, which should mean the pre-order DLC is back on the table.

Update: When requesting details on the Fable 3 Collector's Edition DLC, a Microsoft SA representative replied, "The Live content will only be obtainable once Live is launched in SA – very soon after the launch of Fable 3." This seemed a bit odd considering the pre-order DLC had been announced in a press release, as well as confirmed telephonically. To try and clarify, we contacted the Microsoft SA rep again, and was only provided with, "The DLC ‘Village Maker’ will only be available in South Africa when Live launches here." I'm sure you're as lost as we are.

We've fired off more emails to Microsoft SA to try and clarify how the "pre-order" DLC will be made available and distributed, and will keep you posted.

Original Story: Microsoft South Africa has confirmed that the recently announced Fable 3 DLC pre-order incentive, the Villager Maker, will be available in South Africa through participating stores.

The Villager Maker downloadable content for Xbox LIVE allows players to create their very own villager which will then be imported into Fable 3 for an exclusive quest, as well as an added bonus of 1,000 gold. You can get creating right now with the web based creator on the lionhead website.

Along with confirmation of the DLC, Microsoft SA has announced the pricing for Fable 3, with the standard edition going for R699 RRP, and the Limited Collector's Edition set at R799 RRP.

With Microsoft keeping the Xbox LIVE content in for Fable 3, it does beg the question: Is the rumoured 26 October Xbox LIVE in SA release date actually on the money? We'll know soon enough.

Fable 3 is set to release in South Africa on 29 October. In the meantime, check out the opening cinematic below, packed fill of chickens, revolutionaries and Fable humour:

To which major South-African stores will the game be released to?
Incredible conections?
BT games?
Game store?

Want to know so i can pre-order a copy there.

Kind regards

Check the update at the top of the article, but it's not very clear anymore. When I requested details on what stores will be running it, a Microsoft rep said they'd find out and get back to me. The next day they said the DLC will no longer be available before launch, effectively null and voiding the pre-order incentive. I'm still awaiting feedback, but as soon as I have, I'll post it here.
