According to a report by Kotaku, a Fable 3 representative demoing the game at a Microsoft product showcase in New York on Monday made mention of two Kinect mini-game ideas which were eventually canned. The first involved statue building, while another saw players throwing tomatoes at people. He didn't divulge any further details, but let's be honest, Fable 3 is probably all the better without those two mini-games.
Lionhead boss Peter Molyneux has made it clear that Fable 3 will not support Kinect at launch, but that doesn't rule out the possibility for future support:
"Kinect is so different to any other device that is out there — because it makes us designers have to go back to the drawing board — to make the experience that Fable can give Kinect and Kinect can give Fable is going to take a little bit of time....It takes us time to craft that experience is really really cool", Molyneux told Engadget recently.
Life in Albion continues later this month with Fable 3 launching on 29 October. Without the tomato throwing mini-game.
