Twitter has been a great way for key members from many different industries to voice their opinions to the general populous. However, it has also led to a few PR nightmares. In this case, UK celebrity, Jonathon Ross, may have inadvertantly announced Fable 3 via a twitter post:
Goodnight all. Must go to bed. Got asked to do voice in Fable 3 tonight. Subarashi. Oyasuminasia. Woss out.
When asked to confirm the existance of Fable 3, Ross responded with a firm, "Yes they are doing it. Charlie Brooker said he would do a voice for it to! Great fun!!".
It was only a matter of time before Lionhead found out, and Ross's morning twitter post revealed the cat was out of the bag, "Good morning. Today I must file DVDs, write a piece for The Times, apologize to Peter Molyneux then go Thorpe Park for SAW rollercoaster!". When asked to explain the nature of the apology, Ross replied, "because I think I revealed something that was not officially announced yet...". Oops.
The Fable franchise has proven highly successful for both Microsoft and Lionhead, and you can be sure they're looking to expand with another title.
