Just a heads up for football fans: EA Sports has released a new patch for FIFA 12, which is set to tackle issues such as the online goalkeeper exploit, FIFA Ultimate Team crashes, and more.

Check out the full list of fixes below:

  • Goalkeeper control in online matches - removed the ability to press Back/Select and play as the goalkeeper, allowing the CPU to defend, in all online matches. The function remains available in offline matches.
  • Fixed empty FIFA Ultimate Team Store without button functionality.
  • Fixed FIFA Ultimate Team crash when using custom tactics.
  • Fixed hard lock that would occur when applying a Manager Contract after purchasing a Bronze Premium Pack in FIFA Ultimate Team.
  • Fixed disconnects from FIFA Ultimate Team after five seconds of connectivity.
  • Optimized the FIFA Ultimate Team server to speed up transactions.
  • Fixed a problem where the game would hang when downloading a Game Face.
  • Fixed a problem which would allow an online team to be controlled by other player.

The FIFA 12 update is available now on Xbox LIVE, and comes in at 4MB.
