If you've been following our recent review round-ups of the Kinect launch titles, you may think it's all good news, but that isn't entirely true. While Kinectimals, Dance Central and Kinect Sports have made good use of what Kinect has to offer, Ubisoft's Fighters Uncaged is being thoroughly thrashed by the international gaming press. Have a look at the review scores below and you'll see what we mean...

  • Eurogamer: "...a feral animal which should never have been let out of its cage, and should be hunted down, shot, skinned and turned into chess sets and umbrella stands." - 2/10
  • GameInformer: "With spotty controls, boring gameplay, and surprising lack of local multiplayer, Fighters Uncaged is one fight you’re better off walking away from." - 4.5/10
  • Joystiq: "I'm not giving it a score because I think scoring a game after a half hour sets a bad precedent, and I'd rather eat a rain-soaked box of poison buttholes than ever play Fighters Uncaged again." - no rating.
  • MSXbox World: "What you're left with is a title which frustrates far more than it excites and therefore can only be recommended to the desperate and the forgiving. If you are neither of those, then avoid like the plague." - 4/10
  • Official Xbox Magazine: "...in small doses Fighters Uncaged can offer a decent if somewhat bare-bones stab at fighting games on Kinect." - 6/10
  • Metacritic: 39/100

If there are thorns among the Kinect launch title roses, it looks like Fighters Uncaged might just be one of them. Judge for yourselves next week when Kinect launches on 10 November.
