Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Square Enix's long running Final Fantasy series makes its Xbox 360 debut later this year, and to mark the occasion Microsoft and Square Enix have come together to give us the Final Fantasy XIII Special Edition bundle, coming to South Africa in March 2010.

The bundle includes the Xbox 360 Super Elite console, two wireless controllers and a standard edition copy of Final Fantasy XIII. People who live in the real world (ie. Xbox LIVE enabled regions) will also get exclusive downloadable Avatar items.

Microsoft SA has confirmed that the bundle will be available locally at an estimated retail price of R3,999, and while the exact date is yet to be set in stone we should expect it around Final Fantasy XIII's world wide release date of 9 March.
