Frank West to return for Dead Rising 2: Off the Record

Capcom has revealed that the Dead Rising story will continue later this year, with series veteran Frank West heading to Fortune City in the retail release, Dead Rising 2: Off the Record.

West, who appeared most recently alongside Dead Rising 2 protagonist Chuck Greene in the Dead Rising 2: Case West DLC, plays his part in this all-new narrative based on the Fortune City outbreak, with "new missions, new enemies, new combo-weapons with which to defeat them plus a brand new Fortune City attraction to explore." Capcom also promises an improved save system and co-op gameplay.

Presumably Dead Rising 2: Off the Record won't retail for full price (at least, we hope not), but we'll know for sure as we approach its spring 2011 release.
