Xbox Gaming in South Africa

How does a gaming accessories manufacturer cash in on a new platform which doesn't need any accessories beyond the appendages we were blessed with at birth? Atomic Accessories seems to have the answer, probably the first of many, with the upcoming Game Boat, an inflatable boat accessory for use with Kinect Adventures.

When I say "for use with Kinect Adventures", what I mean is that instead of jumping around and swaying from side to side willy nilly on the carpet, you can now do it while standing in a small red boat. It's similar in concept to playing FIFA 11 while standing on a small patch of roll-on-lawn. According to Atomic Accessories, the Game Boat is "ideal to comfortably play in 2 gamers simultaneously". And that's not all, because once inflated using the included pump, the Game Boat can be used "in the watyr [sic], at the sea or at the pool, by children and adults". It's almost like it's just a normal boat, but for gaming! That's incredible!

The Atomic Accessories site has the Game Boat set for release in November, ready to leave you up Kinect Creek without a paddle just in time for the launch of Kinect Adventures.
